Reader’s Issue: I am tired of not being accepted for who I am. This makes me feel rejected. I feel anger, frustration, hopelessness.

Growing up, what I did never seemed to be good enough. I think I was also just trying to win my parents approval, but I felt worthless because I could not seem to measure up to their expectations.
It makes me sad to think how life might be different if I had not lived with this worthless feeling.
I am not sure how to deal with my feelings.

Response:
At some point in his childhood, Jim had an experience that led him to conclude that he must be worthless and therefore not deserve good things. This conclusion instantly became one of Jim’s beliefs and life truths, to base and live his life by.
We all grow up creating and living a set of inner beliefs based on the experiences we have. Everything we do is based on our beliefs/truths. We act them out continually and live the personality of each belief.
Imagine the thoughts and behaviors of a person who believes that they are worthless, or not good enough, unlovable, or even a failure. How difficult it would be to form close relationships, be happy, or even enjoy their own successes.
Our ability to form and experience meaningful relationships is dependent on how we feel about ourselves!
Jim finally became fed up with the implications of this belief and was ready to change it.
I met Jim in a private chatroom where I talked him through a Greene’s Release session. Jim opened to look at the real issue behind the situations that made him feel rejected and not appreciated and discovered that it originated with childhood experiences that made him feel worthless.
He discovered that “I have worth and value and it is not dependent on what others think or say about me” and is ready to work through Heal Your Self – A Journey to Find YOU to change his self beliefs and begin living the flip side of life.
